Welcome Back To Reality TV, Britney!

by Christine DiStasio

There's no doubt that Britney Spears is back, bitch. Earlier this fall Britney announced that she would be taking up two-year residency in Las Vegas for her show at Planet Hollywood, Britney: Piece of Me. Following the singer's big reveal of the track list for her new album Britney Jean, that features her little sister Jamie-Lynn, E! announced that they would be airing the 90-minute documentary I Am Britney Jean on Dec. 22. December is quickly becoming the month of Britney Spears. In addition to the singer's birthday on Dec. 2, Britney Jean will be released on Dec. 3 and her Vegas show will kick off on Dec. 27.

According to the network, I Am Britney Jean will be:

An intimate look at one of the most overexposed yet under-revealed stars of today as she faces one of her biggest challenges ever while finishing her album, shooting videos, doing press -- and being a mom.

The documentary opens on Spears finishing up the writing and recording of her new album and will feature candid and revealing discussions of the pop star's personal and professional life "like we've never seen before." Except we have seen this before—twice: on Britney & Kevin: Chaotic in 2004 and Britney: For the Record in 2008—but that's not going to stop us from tuning to I Am Britney Jean and its encore because all hail Britney, and because there's sure to be plenty of gif-worthy moments to keep us entertained.

Here's a round-up of Britney gifs inspired by her previous candid, revealing, and "like you've never seen her before" reality TV moments that are sure to induce nostalgia for simpler times (i.e. before Keeping Up With The Kardashians).

Some silly, candid moments...

Seriously though, do not piss Brit off. Look at that perfectly positioned, admonishing finger—definitely mom-material.

Take note, Miley Cyrus. You were NOT the first person to do this.

"Huh? You want me to prove it? No plastic surgery here, guys!"

You do your thing and dance like no one's watching, Brit. (Except everyone, including us and that guy in the mirror is watching.)

And the profound and revealing moments of reflection...

I mean, duh...that's why we're still watching.

We totally agree, look at you now post-Federline.

Nowadays, this statement is actually true (Miley, JLaw...).

Dishing out brutal honesty. Don't worry, we wouldn't want to live with K-Fed either, girl.

Don't be so sad, Brit. It gets better, we promise, like I'm-Headlining-A-Show-In-Vegas better.
