Lindsay Lohan x Lavish Alice Is Fab (No, Really)

by Dana Reszutek

It's been a while since a certain mischievous redhead has been on anyone's style radar. The only buzzy thing about her lately have been the rumors that she was stepping back into the spotlight releasing a Lindsay Lohan x Lavish Alice clothing line. Well, the rumors are true! Lohan designed a clothing line with UK brand Lavish Alice, and the collection is finally here. The actress/singer/beacon of not-so-great media attention has been keeping pretty quiet lately, but it seems she might be ready for a long awaited comeback.

Even better is that Lindsay Lohan X Lavish Alice is really put together. The line features clean silhouettes in mostly blacks, navys, and greys, with major '70s influence, from bell sleeves to super-sized fringe. No, really — I'm talking major fringe. Though some pieces are more eccentric than others, there seems to be something for everyone in this line, especially given the fact that all the items sell for under $100, which is not too shabby.

Lohan not only designed the collection with the Lavish Alice team, but also stepped in front of the camera, modeling some of her pieces for the ad campaign and showing off that she still looks amazing (I'm especially loving her beachy waves in every shot). Let's take a look at some of the most stand-out looks from the collection, and hope this is a sign that Lohan is officially back in business.

Black Tassel Hem Long Sleeve Top and Shorts, $62.50 each

I've personally never aspired to own a pair of tasseled shorts, but these black, fitted bottoms, paired with a matching top, are an interesting spin on the upholstery appliqué.

Suede Fringe Mini Dress, $75.51

This suede (that's right, suede) dress is giving off major rock 'n' roll vibes, and I'm kind of loving it.

Navy Blue & Black Tassel Blazer, $96.35

Blazers are definitely a spring staple, and this satiny, tuxedo-style version is a daring way to rock the look while avoiding adding a business casual feel to your outfit.

Multi Stripe Print Collarless Cape Blazer, $75.51

One of the few colorful pieces from the collection, the stripes on this cape are surprisingly not too overwhelming, and the oversized silhouette seems perfect for any kind of occasion.

White Pleated Chiffon Hem Mini Dress, $80.73

I'm loving this long-sleeve look, which has just the right level of simplicity and style. Pair this with some white, summery shoes, and you've got yourself an awesome night-out look.

Salt & Pepper Knit Plunge Bell Sleeve Top and Slim Flares, $52.07 and $54.68

A grey, monochrome, all-knit outfit? Sign me up. No seriously, this looks so comfortable.

Navy Tie Detail Mini Dress $91.13

One of the simpler looks from the collection, this dress's front tie and subtle, asymmetrical paneling turns this piece into a unique "little navy dress."

Black Fringe Tapered Leg Trousers, $75.51

I know many people wouldn't rock these all-fringe, high-waisted paints (I personally will pass as well), but we can all definitely admire them from afar.
