Here's How Scott Disick Can Stay On 'KUWTK'

by Kadeen Griffiths

As surprising as it might be to believe, I'm not sure whose side to be on when it comes to the rumor that Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick have broken up. I love a good couple that can just be amazingly terrible people together, and then turn around and love each other fiercely (or be terrible to each other, depending on the day of the week), and that was Kourtney and Scott in a nutshell. Like the rest of the world, one of the many questions I had about the breakup was whether or not Scott would still be on Keeping Up with the Kardashians , and I've tentatively decided that the answer is probably yes. However, that just raises a new question. How can they continue to incorporate Scott into Keeping Up with the Kardashians if he's not with Kourtney anymore? Let me count the ways, Lord Disick fans.

It's not just that Khloe's exes, Lamar Odom and French Montana, have made appearances on the show despite her split with both of them. And it's not just that Scott is an irreplaceable part of the show, even if he's not technically part of the family. It's more that Scott has a fan base in his own right, a base that is devastated by his break up with Kourtney, and, while there's still a solid chance that the pair might get back together seeing as they've broken up before, we should definitely think about the future. And the future is bright, at least as far as ways to keep Scott around are concerned. Don't believe me? Here are seven.

1. He's The Father Of Kourtney's Children

Unlike with Khloe and Odom or Montana, Kourtney and Scott actually have children together. Once they sort out the whole question of custody, there's no doubt that Scott will at least appear while picking them up and dropping them off. Maybe the cameras will even cut away from the Kardashians for a while to follow him around as he hangs out with them, and any other Kardashian Klan babies that might want to come with.

2. He's BFF With Khloe

It's still up in the air as to whether or not Khloe will have to choose between Kourtney and Scott in this whole alleged break up thing, but I doubt she'll have to say goodbye to him completely or forever. Once the dust has settled, she and Scott will probably text and chat and Instagram photos together like the good old days. So, at least if we have to say goodbye to Scott for now, we can be assured he'll come back.

3. He's Also BFF With Rob

See above, but with an even higher likelihood that Rob won't cut Scott out completely. I mean, rumors are constantly flying about which one of his sisters Rob is on the outs with at the moment, and Rob needs his bro!

4. He Could Get His Own Spin-Off

Keeping Up with the Kardashians: The Reign Of Lord Disick could be a real thing coming to our TV screens sometime soon. Keep your eyes peeled.

5. He Could Get His Own E! Network Show

You know, if we drop KUWTK and just call it The Reign of Lord Disick. I'm not even sure what it would be about, but I imagine it would involve a lot of hair products and grandiose statements about one's own importance. And dry one-liners about Kim and Kris.

6. He Might Try To Win Her Back

Just as the breakup is likely to be immortalized on KUWTK forever and ever, so too might any attempts Scott makes to win Kourtney back be televised. Whether or not she decides to take him back still remains to be seen, but, hey, at least we'd get to see him. And maybe we'll forgive him before she does.

7. They'll See Each Other At Events

And then their eyes will lock across the crowded room, and their gazes will soften as they remember all the good times they had, and then suddenly who was right or wrong won't matter as much as working out their differences for their own sake and for the sake of their children. I'm not crying. You're crying. No matter how it happens, I'm not as ready to eject Scott from the Kardashian world as rumors would have us believe Kourtney is. Keep the dream alive, guys.
