Jennifer Lawrence Attends Comic Con In Serious Body-Con Style That's So Easy To Copy
If you think Comic Con is just for a bunch of nerds, it's time to think again (although that wouldn't be a bad thing — let your nerd flag fly, y'all). This year's event practically turned in to a high fashion runway, thanks to Jennifer's Lawrence's Prabal Gurugn dress that had heads turning the moment she walked through the door. She showed some serious leg and gave everyone some fashion inspiration along the way.
This was actually just one of her three Comic Con outfits, but it's probably my favorite. The tight, midnight blue dress had a thigh-high slit that instantly gave a red carpet feel to the ensemble. But seriously, they might as well have changed the name of the event to Body Con for the day. Lawrence was in attendance to promote both The Hunger Games and X-Men: Apocalypse, but something tells me we won't be seeing Katniss looking like this in the final installment of that particular franchise.
The star paired her leggy, metallic look with a strappy black heel and some sparkle on her ear lobes, bringing a glamorous feel that she held onto throughout the day. And, like any fabulous summer outfit, Lawrence finished off her look with some high fashion sunnies to keep her looking cool at the San Diego event. Who said comics can't be high fashion?
Check out her three looks from the weekend below.
Adding a little oomph to an outfit is something that Lawrence knows all about. Although she has rocked a lot of loose-fitting boho chic style, she shows fashionistas everywhere that it's alright to experiment and go tight sometimes. Thankfully, this look is easy to pull off on even the hottest of summer days.
