Rita Ora cast in '50 Shades of Grey', Just in Time to Spoil Rob Kardashian's Christmas
Bad news for Rob Kardashian: Ex-girlfriend and singing sensation Rita Ora has been cast in 50 Shades of Grey as Christian's adopted sister Mia. According to the 50 Shades wiki page, Mia Grey is bubbly and outgoing, described as fluent in French, cello-playing, and having studied cooking in Paris. If they are staying true to the adaptation, Ora will need to dye and chop her usually bleached locks for Mia's black, short bob haircut. Later in the series, Mia's apperance (or lack their of) becomes crucial to the storyline.
Rita Ora is best known for her single "Hot Right Now," and her recent album "Ora" which was the number one album in the U.K. upon its release. Little, however, is known about her acting chops, although her IMDB page does credit her for appearing in Fast & Furious 6 as "racer" (uncredited).
The highly-anticipated S&M adaptation will hit theatres just in times for V-Day (too many V-card jokes to choose one) on Feb. 13, 2015. Currently shooting in Vancouver, the film also stars Dakota Johnson as virginal Anastasia Steele, Jamie Dornan as the red room of terror king himself, and Eloise Mumford as Ana's roomie, Kate. Earlier Monday we learned that two versions of 50 Shades will be released, one explicit (i.e. porn) and the other "clean" — although what "clean" means in the world of E.L. James' twisted world means, is yet to be determined.
