Adele Ditches The Cat Eye On The Cover Of 'Vogue'
I feel like the moment you land a Vogue cover, you know you’ve made it. But, that isn’t the case for this woman. This powerhouse vocalist made it long before the magazine first put her on its cover back in 2009, and now she's back, baby! Adele covers the March issue of Vogue and couldn’t look more gorgeous. I honestly believe it’s their honor to have her as a cover model and not the other way around!
This makeup look is a departure from her signature cat eye, and I’m thrilled to get a glimpse of her in a more natural state. Her dewy, rosy cheeks really have me in the mood for warmer weather, and will have you making spring break plans in no time. She looks like a springtime vision, and thankfully, it’s not hard to recreate her look — especially since there’s no cat eye. I don’t know about you, but I’d be in the bathroom for days trying to get that just right.
Yes, her makeup is flawless, but that’s not the only thing making Adele shine. She admitted during an interview with Vogue, “But actually I like myself more than ever. I feel so comfortable in my own skin. I really like how I look, I like who I am, I like everyone that I surround myself with,” she said. “Obviously I have insecurities, but they don’t hold me back.” It’s her confidence that has her looking so good, and that’s something we can all strive for. That, and those perfectly blushed cheeks.
Simply stunning, isn't she?
Here's what you need to recreate her look:
1. Rose Lip

A subtle pink hue on your lips will do just the trick.
2. Long Lashes

4. Rosy Cheeks

5. Tousled Hair
