15 Dumbledore Quotes To Inspire You In 2017

by E. Ce Miller

Now that we’ve all taken a collective sigh of relief that 2016 is finally, finally over, it’s time to don those big-girl-business pants once more and step intrepidly into the future (or as my homeboy Dumbledore might say: “Let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure!”) But after the year that 2016 was, I don’t blame you for needing a little inspiration for 2017 — and there is no better way to get energized, motivated, and ready for the new year ahead than with some of Professor Albus Dumbledore’s best quotes, perfect for inspiring you in 2017. He was the sage giver of advice and wisdom of the Harry Potter crew, after all.

Plus, there is something about Dumbledore’s wisdom that feels especially fitting for the year ahead — as we move into an unknown future that very well might resemble (but let’s hope not) the political landscape of the Second Wizarding War. And as ominous (and again, let’s hope unlikely) as that might seem, it can’t hurt to be armed with some Dumbledore-inspired wisdom.

Check out these 15 Dumbledore quotes to inspire you in 2017 — and cheers to having the best year yet (or at least a year better than last!)
