Tweets That Got Last Night's 'Bachelorette' So Right

To be honest, I really didn't know what to make of this Bachelorette season when I watched the premiere episode. The concentration on the "Whaboom" nonsense was a little too much for me, but it turned out that the next episode was prime entertainment. So, of course, fans wrote lots of tweets in response to Episode 2 of Rachel Lindsay's Bachelorette season.

There was just so much going on that the fandom could not help tweeting up a storm: The whaboom antics continued (unfortunately). Rachel's "friends" Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar stopped by for the group dates. There was plenty of awkward conversation to make the viewers cringe at home. Rachel's dog, Copper, crashed one of her dates. And finally, DeMario's ex-girlfriend showed up and some serious drama ensued. Thankfully, aside from all that drama, Rachel actually did have some genuine chemistry with some of the guys.

Overall, it was an epic episode. I was pretty annoyed when it ended without a rose ceremony. That is the worst. But aside from that, I was more than satisfied by all of the drama that went down, and clearly, I was not the only one who felt that way since Twitter was blowing up during the episode and into the next morning.

1. Whaboom Is Just So Confusing

Whaboom is annoying, unclear, and unnecessary. I wish whoever was putting this show together dismissed it just as easily as Ashton did.

2. The Jared Haibon Shoutout Was Everything

This really was great. I'm still not over it and I'm sure that Jared feels the same way.

3. The Irony Of Blake Calling Out Lucas Was Too Good

Can Rachel please eliminate them both?

4. The Commentary From Kenny Was On Point

Thank god for Kenny. We all needed a laugh during that awkward group date.

5. The Fandom Can't Help Rooting For Kenny

With all of the weirdos still left on this show, it is so refreshing to have someone so genuine like Kenny to stand out from the crowd.

6. The Connection Between Rachel & Dean Is Undeniable

That group date was difficult to watch until Dean and Rachel had some private time and the audience finally got to watch a legitimate love connection.

7. The Lipstick Was Everywhere

Don't get me wrong, Rachel looked fierce last night, but that lipstick got all over Dean when they kissed.

8. The Gap Tooth Convo Was Endearing

Rachel and Peter talking about the gaps in their teeth was so sweet. Can they please just get married and produce some gap-toothed babies?

9. The Front-Runner Is Peter

I don't blame Rachel for being into Peter. We are all into Peter.

10. The Kareem Cameo Should Be A Regular Thing

Maybe Kareem and Chris Harrison can serve as co-hosts?

11. The DeMario Confidence Was Sky High

Leave the Michael Jordan comparisons to Corinne Olympios, DeMario. She does it better.

12. The DeMario Lies Got Out Of Hand

Shady AF.

13. The Ex-Girlfriend Was Pretty Extra

There's no doubt that this situation was a bad look for DeMario, but his ex definitely had some interesting turns of phrases.

14. The Bachelorette Isn't Playing Around

YES, RACHEL.

15. The Lack Of A Rose Ceremony Was So Frustrating

We need a rose ceremony every week!

16. The Return Of DeMario Was Both Amazing & Annoying

I'm not going to lie, I thrive on the drama.

I need next week's episode and I need it now. I can't be engulfed in two hours of this drama and cut off cold turkey. I'm ready for more Bachelorette.
