The Planned Parenthood Events In Your Area Celebrating #PinkOut Day

It's a sad reality the current presidential administration is a threat to Planned Parenthood — a women's health service that's an absolute staple necessity in communities all around the country. So, in an effort to rally up all of the voices that stand to protect Planned Parenthood, the organization has declared Wed, Mar. 29, Pink Out Day. Pink OutDay is a day to show support for Planned Parenthood and the vital services they have to offer women in this country. While the majority of the Pink Out will occur online and through social media, there are ways to show your support offline — you can check out one of the Planned Parenthood events in your area to start.

All around the country, rallies and get-togethers are popping up to give women a chance to layer their voices and speak for the women who can't. The point of this movement is to make so much noise that lawmakers can't ignore us. So the more people involved online and the more people who show up in person, the better chance we have of actually getting their attention in D.C.. Here are a few Planned Parenthood events that you might want to join in on now:

Washington, D.C., Action Fund

Join the masses tonight from 5-7 p.m. at Capitol Hill to show the lawmakers that pink is everywhere they go. With over 75 percent of American's in favor of Planned Parenthood, now is the time to show the power of the majority.

University Of Texas At San Antonio, Pink Out Day

Starting this morning at 9 a.m. and lasting until 2 p.m., college students will get together to show their support for Planned Parenthood. Together they will Pink-Out the campus. Location: The University of Texas at San Antonio, 1 Utsa Cir, San Antonio, TX.

Oklahoma City, OK Congressman Office Visit

Today, from 12:30-1:30 p.m., locals will be gathering outside of the congress building at Congressman Steve Russell's Office. Location: 4600 SE 29th St Ste 400 Oklahoma City, OK 73115

San Fransisco, CA Ping Pong for Planned Parenthood

Tomorrow night from 6-8 p.m., there will be a ping pong tournament with proceeds going to Planned Parenthood. Location: El Rio 3158 Mission St, San Francisco, CA 94110.

Upper Hudson Valley, NY Pink Out

Tomorrow, March 30 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Portland Community College of Cascade, Senator Dembrow/Senator Frederick, Representative Keny-Guyer/Representative Sanchez will be having a joint town hall to talk about the importance of female healthcare in the community.
