Burt's Bees Is Launching A Natural Makeup Line Three Decades In The Making
Forget everything you think you know about Burt's Bees because the company's offers just got better — and larger. According to their Instagram announcement, Burt's Bees is creating a makeup line that's three decades in the making. I'm not just talking the expected lipsticks and balms, my friend. There's everything from shadows to foundations in this comprehensive collection.
For 33 years, Burt's Bees has been making lip balms, lotions, and skincare products that aim to keep it natural. Now they've amped up their worker bees to created a line of all-natural makeup products, too.
According to Refinery29, the collection includes a 12-shade range of liquid foundation, three blushes, six mattifying powder foundations, and six glossy lipsticks along with mascara, liner, and shadows. It's their biggest launch to date, and it definitely doesn't disappoint.
There's no exact date just yet for the Burt's Bees Beauty release, but the publication did say that is will be arriving in September 2017. One thing is for sure though — it's super affordable. Items range from just $9 to $17 for the foundations. Until then, you can shop their selection of lipsticks and balms found at CVS, Walgreens, and Target.

If you can't wait until September to stock up, there's only one way to try them out first. According to their Instagram, the brand created a Burt's Box, which will give fans access to eight of the new products before they launch.
Although the brand won't tell their fans exactly what is in the box, there's a good chance that it's filled with the makeup items. You can purchase the box right now on the Burt's Bees website. According to the site, Burt's Box is filled with $125 worth of items, but you'll get the box for $65.

Every single one of the makeup items are made with ingredients that you can find in nature. While that doesn't mean that it's vegan — because, well, honey — or gluten free, it does mean that there are no parabens, phthalates, SLS synthetic fragrances, talc or silicones.
On top of all of that, the brand also prides itself on being cruelty free and dermatologist tested.
If all of that doesn't get you ready for September, then I don't know what will. This brand proves that you don't have to shell out tons of cash to go natural.
