Louis Tomlinson & Eleanor Calder Found Their Way Back To Each Other

The heart wants what the heart wants — and this One Directioner only has eyes for one woman. Despite breakups and makeups, Louis Tomlinson and Eleanor Calder are back together. The singer and the fashion blogger were spotted walking the streets of New York City hand-in-hand on Thursday, Aug. 3. If you need further proof, the 25-year-old seemingly professed his love of Calder in the most permanent way recently: He got a tattoo of the letter "E" on his hand.

Although Tomlinson said in an interview with Smallzy that his single "Back to You" is not necessarily about Calder, she was quite present in the musical process leading up to his solo debut project. Also, Tomlinson noted in a BBC interview that he and Calder have personal songs that are just for them. "There's a couple of songs that me and my girlfriend really like that'll never be used for anything, so they're kind of just for us. That's really nice." He went on to explain how he wanted his album to reflect all of the ups and downs in his life over the past few years:

"A lot of the album's about her, really. I wanted to make the album feel chronological, because that's how I wrote it. You can hear my journey as an individual over these three years — leaving the band, then going out on the really crazy party scene, and then I've kind of ended up full circle back with Eleanor, who I love dearly."

Tomlinson and Calder's love has endured through the pop star's meteoric rise to fame with One Direction and during his lowest poins after losing his mother, Johannah, to leukemia. According to The Sun, the pair were first together at the very start of Tomlinson's career, dating from 2011 to 2015.

However, between Tomlinson's touring and Calder's college days at Manchester University, the couple didn't end up staying together. Amidst their split, Tomlinson fathered a son named Freddie with L.A. stylist Briana Jungwirth and also dated actor Danielle Campbell. Tomlinson and Calder reportedly reunited in February 2017

These days, the lovebirds are happily arm-in-arm when they aren't too busy with their own careers. With his muse by his side, Tomlinson is sure to bless the airwaves with more pop hits.
