I called it! Kylie Cosmetics' latest collaborator is Kylie Jenner's big sis Kim Kardashian. Yaas! The KKW Creme Liquid Lipstick set features four nude lipsticks in a new creme formula. Oooh! Nude lips are such a signature for Kardashian and it was only a matter of time before she collaborated with her youngest sister on her insanely successful makeup line. This partnership is going to break the Internet... or at the very least cause the Kylie Cosmetics site to crash due to user overload because of the shopping mania that ensues.
The Kylie Cosmetics x KKW Lip Creme Collection drops on Tuesday, Apr. 25 at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. ET.
A few weeks ago, Jenner tweeted about the upcoming kollab and I predicted it would be Kardashian. So here's me, patting myself on the back. But back to the Kylie Cosmetics x KKW lippies.
The creme lippies are super self-referential — no, really! There's Kimberly, Kim, Kiki, and Kimmie, which are all nicknames and variants of Kardashian's moniker.
The limited edition KKW lippies are nudes with pink and coral tones. So, can you buy the KKW Creme Lipsticks as single tubes or are these shades sold only as a set?
Well, all the social posts and intel point to Kylie x KKW being sold solely as a set for now, like the Koko Kollection was when it first dropped last fall.
Bustle reached out to Kylie Cosmetics for clarification and to find out if the KKW cremes will be sold a la carte. The matte pink packaging is like a book that houses all four tubes.
A new formula and Kim-approved nudes? Yes and yes!
These look so mix and matchable. You can line and layer using the liquid lipstick wand as a guide, since liners aren't included, which is the case with Kylie Lip Kits.
Truth! The reality star is known for her soft, pink x peach pouts.
Swatch time! Kimberly is the most nude.
Kim is peachier.
Kiki has a coral (or "koral") tone!
Oh, hey Kimmie!
Of course there is a chance that the brand could eventually release the KKW Cremes individually and/or bring them back as permanent items, as well. You never know. That happened with Khloe Kardashian's Koko Kollection. It began life as a limited edition set with three mattes and one gloss. It restocked and then the internal components were added to the permanent repertoire as singles.
#SquadGoals. The KKWs look as though they were created to be paired for custom lip looks.
