Dr. Jart's New Shake & Shot Rubber Masks Look Like Slurpees — With A Creepy Baby Face On The Lid

Confession: I have had a rubber mask stowed away in my bathroom cabinet for two months now, mainly because I have nothing to mix it in. Rubber masks usually come in a kit of ingredients that you have to "DIY" together in order to create the rubber texture, and part of me (the lazy part) wants to just use one of my cereal bowls, but that seems ill advised. Another part of me thinks I should just go to the dollar store to buy a plastic bowl, but then who wants to do errands when it's five degrees outside? Not I. And so the package continues to sit there, tucked away behind my bathroom mirror, waiting until I get my life in order.

If you have ever experienced something similar then you'll jump for joy over the new Dr. Jart Shake & Shot Rubber Masks, mainly because they give you all the tools you need to create the darn things. Rubber masking is a K-beauty staple, and Dr. Jart has just made the whole process easier. The masks come in weird but amazingly eye catching slurpee containers, where they're packaged in a fun mix of eye-searing colors, like orange and lilac, or blue and yellow. The lids of the cups are rubber baby masks (terrifying and hilarious,) and a "straw" pokes through the mouth, finishing the movie theater cup aesthetic.

While definitely not your average face mask packet, the packaging isn't just about aesthetics — it actually serves a very specific purpose. The cup is your new mixing bowl, where you can pour the different mask ingredients in, the straw is a spatula you can mix the ingredients with, and the rubber face is the cap the encloses the mixture, which you then shake to cement the ingredients together.

Once it congeals you put the mask onto your face, and when it dries you pull the rubber off in one swift move. Each mask retails for $12 at Sephora, and there are four different options to choose from, each tackling a different skin concern. Below is the roundup to give you an idea what your options are.
