This year's live action version of Beauty and the Beast fulfilled every millennial's childhood dreams with its romance, sweeping dance scenes, and, of course, an amazing performance by none other than Emma Watson. She so perfectly embodied the role of Belle that it's no wonder she's up for several awards at the MTV Movie & TV awards this year. Here's hoping she wins, because Watson's look on the red carpet was all sorts of award-worthy.
We all know the actress looks great in huge ballgowns (namely, giant yellow ones). But she also looked incredible at Sunday night's show. Watson arrived in a sleek black dress with sequined bottom that brought to mind shimmering mermaid scales. She paired the look with hair that was pulled back perfectly and gelled to achieve that "wet" look. (If you've ever tried it, you know can be so difficult to do. And yet Watson totally did it right.)
Her short halter dress was paired with one metal dangly earring, which gave the prettiness of her look a tougher vibe. Take a peek at the look below and tell me it's not the perfect thing to hop on stage in to accept an award. So chic.
