Evan Rachel Wood is repping pantsuit nation at the 2017 SAG Awards tonight, after making a splash in a tux at the Golden Globes. Woods is the master of balancing elegant style with fresh, youthful perspective. Even her first SAG Awards red carpet look, back in 2004, was so elegant you could imagine it walking down the runway over a decade later.
Woods has been a leader in runway fashion since way back when, and her choices are classic but not predictable. Woods' custom suit by Altuzarra for the Golden Globes was complete with a pussy bow and fantastically wide cut trousers. She completed the outfit with a sleek, chic, and retro 'do and minimal makeup that is reminiscent of her first red carpet — minimal and timeless.
"I've worn a dress every single time and I love dresses," she told E!'s Ryan Seacrest. "I'm not trying to protest dresses but I wanted to make sure young girls and women know that it's not a requirement. You don't have to wear one if you don't want to. Just be yourself because you're worth more than that. This year, I'm going homage to Victor Victoria and David Bowie because it's his birthday."
Wood plays the lead female character inWestworld, and is nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series.
Her beauty look complimented the suit perfectly.
Following in the footsteps of her Golden Globes look, Wood leveled up her suit game for the SAG Awards. Keep slaying, Evan.
