Kim K Wants More Kids, But Not As Many As Her Mom

There may be more Kardashian-West children in the future. In a promo released on Sunday night for the next episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kim Kardashian revealed she wants to try for a third baby. Kardashian has discussed her difficulties with pregnancy in the past. In a previous episode of KUWTK and in posts on her website, she revealed medical difficulties she faced while pregnant with North and Saint.

The star knows that any future pregnancies would be high-risk, but in the new clip, Kardashian tells Khloé and Kourtney Kardashian, and her mother, Kris Jenner, that she is going to try and have one more baby. In the short video Kardashian also notes that despite the difficulties she might face, she would really like her children to have siblings. It may be risky, but Kardashian has said in the past that she wanted to have three children.

She clearly loves being a mother, and given the general adorableness of North and Saint, it's no wonder she wants another baby. After North was born, the star told Ryan Seacrest in 2014 that she would like to have "three [kids] tops." As she said in the interview, "It was a really hard pregnancy. But I love my daughter so much and I know what it was like to grow up with siblings, so I definitely want to have more." She went on to note that she could never have as many kids as her mother, who has six children.

As she grew up in a household with three siblings, it's not surprising that she wants her own children to have siblings, as well. While North is age three and Saint just one, Kardashian wants to see if it's possible to have another baby. "I want my kids to have siblings, but the doctors don’t feel like it’s safe for me,” she explains in the latest promo. Lately the star has been posting plenty of family pics, both old and new, on Instagram, so it's clear that the importance of family is on her mind.

While Kardashian seems certain that it was time to try for baby #3, Kris Jenner and Kardashian's sisters have their concerns. In the promo, they all look a bit shocked at her announcement. “I don’t want you to do something that would put you in danger," Jenner tells her daughter.

Like most aspects of her life, Kardashian has been pretty forthcoming and open about her difficulties during pregnancy. In a blog post on her site, she described her struggles with preeclampsia, placenta accreta, and early labor. These are serious health issues that Kardashian handled bravely, and her post offers some advice for other women who might be going through the same thing. As both of Kardashian's deliveries had their obstacles, her decision to try for another child might surprise fans and family. However, she is determined to at least try for a bigger family.

Hopefully, Kardashian can consult with her doctors, and will be able to have a safe and healthy pregnancy. While it may be a difficult road, it's clear that she is ready to face challenges. Of course, when it comes to pursuing a larger family, there are always options. The star doesn't mention surrogacy or adoption in the latest clip, but has weighed these options in the past.

In previous episodes of KUWTK, Kardashian seriously considered the opinion of surrogacy. “I’ve come to the conclusion in my mind that I can’t carry another one. So now I want to explore surrogacy,” she told her mother on an episode of the show that aired in 2016. There's a good chance that as Kardashian considers future children in the upcoming episode, surrogacy could come up once more.

It seems that Kardashian is pretty set on having three children. She comes from a large family and is thriving as a mom, so it wouldn't be too surprising if one more baby ends up joining the Kardashian-West fam. Let's hope Kardashian will have a healthy, safe pregnancy or success with another option when it comes to bringing the children she wants into her life.
