You Can See 'America's Got Talent' Shows Live

When Grace VanderWaal walked on stage as an unassuming 12-year-old with a ukulele, judgements and expectations were written on the faces of America's Got Talent audience members, especially when VanderWaal announced she would be performing an original song. But, true to America's Got Talent form, what happened next shocked and delighted the crowd. The magic of the surprising performance was conveyed to the television audience through the looks on faces in the crowd and tears from friends and family. It seems, much of America's Got Talent's televised emotion hinges on the participation of the audience. But how can you attend an America's Got Talent's taping?

According to NBC.com, America's Got Talent tickets to be in the audience are free. NBC directs those interested in acting as audience members to another site that announces that tapings will resume in August 2017. Those interested can sign up to be notified when tickets are released. And, while it may be free to attend, tickets are in demand — so you're not guaranteed a spot.

When it comes to competition shows and reality television, so much of the drama depends on viewers' reactions. And, there are plenty of other shows that depend on live audiences if you can't get into AGT right now...

'American Ninja Warrior'

According to the long-running FOX dance series' page, participants can submit their information now for notifications about attending Season 14's tapings.

Late Night Talk Shows

'SNL'

Information about entering the 2017-2018 lottery for Saturday Night Live tickets has not been announced yet. But, according to NBC.com, "Stand-by tickets are distributed at 7 a.m. on the 48th St. side of 30 Rockefeller Plaza on the mornings of the show. You may choose a stand-by ticket for either the 8 p.m. dress rehearsal or the 11:30 p.m. live broadcast."

'The Voice'
