Here's How To Use KKW Beauty's Contour Kit

The big launch is only a few days away. Kim Kardashian West's KKW Beauty debuts on Wednesday, Jun. 21. Her brand, which boasts soft, millennial pink packaging, makes its grand debut at 12 p.m. ET/9 a.m. PT. The reality star and entrepreneur extraordinaire is launching her beauty line with Creme Contour & Highlight Kits in four shades, with each kit hosting the tools with which to contour like a pro. Or, at the very least, to kontour like a KarJenner. Kardashian opted to do a contouring set since facial definition created via shadows and light are her most recognizable beauty signature, along with smoky eyes, mega lashes, and glossed, nude lips. Here's how to use the KKW Beauty cream contour kits, with direction from the beauty guru herself.

In a video posted on the KKW Beauty Instagram feed and designed to generate more hype for the launch, Kardashian says that she has been wearing less makeup lately. It's true that she has dialed down some of her mega glam-ness in recent times but she still looks drop dead gorgeous regardless.

This is Kim Kontouring V. 2.0. It's streamlined and the end result is more natural… even if the use of multiple products to create a lines and highlights doesn't seem simple!

That said, skin is meant to be seen through the product, not masked by it.

KKW affirms that she loves looking bronzy, explaining that she uses the lighter side of the stick in her contouring kit as shadow, under the eye, full on the nose, and as lip liner. She then uses the darker shade all around her face for her go-to look.

Like so!

The texture of the product is sheer. The kits allow for definition, along with warming up the skin and adding a dose of glow.

These are the kit contents. There are multiple tools, textures, finishes, and shades to create effective contour.

A sponge on one end, a brush on the other! I love a self-contained tool.

Those swatches, though! There are four shades and two textures in dual-ended cream sticks within each of the four kits, which are designed for four skintones.

Kylie Jenner's big sister and fellow makeup maven is ramping up the excitement with the videos and pics. Overall, the contour kit looks pretty foolproof for getting Kim-like definition with shadow and light. Tutorials are coming soon.
