When celebrities come into Bustle HQ in New York, whether it's for a photoshoot, videoshoot, or a Facebook Live, we want to give them the chance to leave their mark. Literally. So we hand them a pen, a piece of paper, a few questions, and ask them to get creative. The rest is up to them. This time, actor Shameik Moore is leaving his mark in the Bustle Booth.

Despite being just 21 years old, Moore has an enviably full resume. After performing in shows like Incredible Crew and Joyful Noise, his role in the 2015 film Dope was transcendent enough that Indiewire included him in their "12 Major Breakouts of the 2015 Sundance Film Festival" list. So, it was hard to be surprised when he got cast as one of the male leads in The Get Down, playing the charismatic Shaolin Fantastic, the thrill-seeking yin to the daydreaming poet Zeke's yang.

So what lies behind the million dollar smile? A sneaking affection for the wise words of Spider-Man's Uncle Ben, a word of warning that you guys should take his Wikipedia entry with the requisite grain of salt, and a tribute to the most ambiguous emoji of all (praying or high five-ing? Please, someone settle this once and for all). Dive in, everyone.
