After what sounds like a rough few weeks, TMZ is reporting that cops rushed to Aaron Carter's home on Thursday, Sept. 21. The site claims that police received a report that the singer may have been under the influence of something and went to check his well-being. It's understandable if fans are wondering if Aaron Carter is OK right now. Bustle reached out to Carter's rep, who declined to comment at this time. However, TMZ's latest update on the situation may have you breathing a sigh of relief.

UPDATE: On Friday afternoon, Carter's rep, Steve Honig, told Bustle that the singer would be entering a facility to "improve his health." The full statement reads:

“Aaron has decided to enter a facility to improve his health and work on his overall wellness. He is going to do this privately and focus all his attention on being the best person and performer possible. He is grateful for the support and love from his fans and looks forward to coming back stronger than ever before.”

EARLIER: Though details are still developing, TMZ updated their initial report to add that cops arrived at Carter's home to check on him, and a neighbor claimed he's doing fine. This is surely good news to anyone who was concerned, though there's no actual update from the singer just yet. However, it's worth noting that an hour before TMZ's report, Carter posted several tweets from his personal account. He wrote, "I hope everyone's having a blessed day," with a praying hands emoji. Sooner after, he added, "I'm always here."

This news comes just a few weeks after E! Online reported police were called to Carter's home for an alleged suicide threat on Wednesday, Sept. 6. E! obtained St. Petersburg police documents that stated cops arrived at the singer's house that night, "but they did not make contact with Carter." Meanwhile, a rep for Carter released the following statement to Bustle at the time:

"Aaron is doing fine and busy preparing for a show in Memphis on Saturday and a big benefit at the Playstation Theater in New York on Tuesday. That’s our focus right now."

Just a day before that particular incident, Carter was involved in a car accident that totaled his vehicle, according to E! Online and since-deleted tweets from the singer himself. The "I Want Candy" artist reportedly broke his nose, among other injuries, but he tweeted to let his followers know he was OK. According to E!, Carter tweeted,

"Life is really so precious. I just got into a terrible accident and completely totaled my BMW M4... All of my airbags went off and I'm cut up all over, at least everyone survived and we're good."

Amidst all of the above, Carter has been promoting upcoming performances and meet-and-greets via Twitter, seemingly focused on his fans and his music above all else. He's scheduled to appear in Orlando on Friday, Sept. 22, and in Tampa the very next day. He also recently released a new single called "Sooner or Later" that reached more than 67 million streams on Spotify.

And despite the rumored drama surrounding him, the singer's loyal fans have his back, tweeting to make sure he's doing OK and letting them know how much they care about him.

And don't worry, the love between Carter and his fans is mutual. He frequently posts about how much he appreciates them, with the following message being shared just a few days ago. He tweeted, "Thank you for being the best fans ever, I see you."

Though no one knows for sure what went down at Carter's house on Thursday and more details have yet to be released, it very well may have been a false alarm. And though the reports sound scary, hopefully he's doing alright and able to channel his focus into his upcoming performances.

Or on the other hand, if the singer needs to take a step back, there's no doubt his fans would support that decision too. One thing is for sure: They have his back no matter what.
