The Academy Awards are officially a go, which means it is time to ask the important questions. One of them being? Is Beyoncé at the 2017 Oscars? Really, who doesn't wonder if the queen of music is going to attend the biggest awards show basically ever, especially one revolving around some of the best movies of the year. Plus, what is any awards show without Queen Bey?

Well, it's unclear yet if she made an appearance (Bustle has reached out to her rep, but did not receive a response at the time of publication), although she could've easily strolled onto the red carpet and surprised everyone. I mean, she and Jay Z did attend The Weinsten Company's pre-Oscar party hosted Saturday evening for Lion at the Montage in Beverly Hills.

According to E! News, the power couple arrived as Cynthia Erivo, Corbin Bleu, and Chris Jackson were finishing up a musical performance from In the Heights. And because they always get the star treatment, Harvey Weinstein reportedly asked for the first five minutes of the performance to be repeated for them. Apparently, they enjoyed it because they were reportedly spotted dancing in their seats and even gave a standing ovation.

It doesn't seem like Beyoncé and Jay Z stayed at the party very long. E! reported they left after a total of 25 minutes and exited through a doorway right next to the stage.

Apparently, before they left after such a short time, they entered in quite the celebrity fashion. I know, it's surprising to hear that Bey and Jay made a huge entrance. Per Los Angeles Times writer Amy Kaufman, they strolled into the party "with like five bodyguards." Hey, if anyone can do that, it's them.

If only they'd chosen to do that at the Oscars, as well.
