Former 'Bachelorette' Kaitlyn Bristowe Has This Advice For Rachel Lindsay
The day has come: Bachelorette's Rachel Lindsay will finally choose her prince. A few hours before the big announcement on Monday night, former Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe took to Instagram to share some advice with Lindsay. In short: Bristowe told Lindsay to ignore the haters. Bachelor fan or not, Bristowe's input is enough to melt anyone's icy cold heart and believe in true love.
When it comes to The Bachelorette, everyone feels like they have a say about what unfolds, especially on the internet. But Bristowe, who's been engaged to Shawn Booth since her run on The Bachelorette's Season 11 in 2015, actually has legitimate advice since she was just in Lindsay's shoes. Her post included a photo of her and Booth in a passionate kiss with the encouraging and heartfelt words of wisdom:
Attention Rachel and "Jerome". Today will be one of the best days of your life. When you can finally be out in the real world hand in hand. I honestly don't think you need advice because you seem to be on cloud 9 and you're smart af, but here's mine for what it's worth. Do not listen to outside voices. People will try and bring you down, I'm not sure why...But they do. As long as you surround yourselves with people who love you, and remind each other that they come first, you will be ok. You both have our full support.
Bristowe's input is uplifting and totally reassuring. People who don't have significant others will want to go find one just from reading it.
It's a huge night for Lindsay, as millions of viewers who have been on her romantic journey will watch her choose between the final three picks: Peter Kraus, Eric Bigger, and Bryan Abasolo. Needless to say, the internet will have its say once the big announcement is revealed.
Bristowe's post for Lindsay also comes at a perfect time given how much hate Bachelor stars have endured lately. For instance, when contestant Ben Higgins broke up with Lauren Bushnell, he was roasted on the internet for it (and for joining forces with Ashley Iaconetti on a podcast). He later defended himself in a lengthy social media post.
But hopefully Lindsay will catch wind of Bristowe's words leading up to the big night, and even embrace them. Bristowe and Booth are still going strong, after all.
