In a recent blog post, Khloé Kardashian shares her steamy sex and relationship book recommendations, saying "ain't no such thing as TMI." With self-help books and the Kardashians still ridiculously popular among the Millennial-and-younger crowd, don't be surprised to see a bump in sales for these titles.
Whether you love the Kardashians or hate them, it's pretty great to see a sex and relationship book list from a Kardashian source. A large portion of the flak Kris and Robert's daughters take stems from the slut-shaming that we normalize in our everyday lives. Provided the parties involved are fully informed and enthusiastically consenting adults, there's no reason on earth to shame someone for having plastic surgery, making a sex tape, or dating more people than you.
So what books does Khloé Kardashian recommend for improving your sex life? Emily Nagoski's 2015 guide to female sexuality, Come as You Are: The Surprising New Science That Will Transform Your Sex Life, made Khloé's list, as did Nicole Daedone's Slow Sex: The Art and Craft of the Female Orgasm. For those of us who don't always pick the right partners — i.e., everyone — there's Bethany Marshall's Deal Breakers: When to Work on a Relationship and When to Walk Away. And naturally, Khloé recommends the classic guide to sex and sensuality, The Complete Illustrated Kama Sutra, which she calls "the OG of sex manuals."
Come As You Are, $13, Amazon; Slow Sex, $10, Amazon; Deal Breakers, $11, Amazon; The Complete Illustrated Kama Sutra, $23, Amazon
