Mac Miller Gives Ariana Grande A Sweet B-Day Wish

Mac Miller and Ariana Grande have history. The couple first collaborated in 2013, and while there was undeniable musical chemistry, the two stars only got together romantically less than a year ago. Their relationship is fairly new, but it's been full of mutual support and lots of love from the start. And on Monday, Miller posted the sweetest birthday wish for Grande. The rapper shared a photo of himself with Grande to Instagram, and in the pic the singer is planting an adorable kiss on his cheek. She looks flawless, and he's making a ridiculous face, but the funny contrast only makes the picture even sweeter. Miller included a special message for the star in the caption, emphasizing what an enormous role she has in his life.

The couple made their relationship official in 2016, starting with cuddling in the audience at the MTV Video Music Awards. Rumors of their romance were already swirling, and the two stars made no effort to hide their relationship. In an interview with People not long after the event, Miller made it clear how much Grande means to him. “She’s just very warm and comforting,” he told the publication. “She’s very caring but, also, we have a lot of fun. We go on adventures. Adventures can be driving around in the car aimlessly. It’s great to be able to do nothing and be doing so much.”

Miller echoed this sentiment in his birthday post, captioning the pic:

"Happy Birthday to this adorable pure soul who has reminded me what being happy feels like. Thank you for loving me so good. I think it's supposed to be 'so well' but I don't care. I love you and can't wait for all of the adventures."

Correct grammar or not, Grande was moved by the birthday wish. According to Refinery29, the star commented on the post with a lot of exclamation points, and then followed up with "I love you" in a separate comment. It's unclear at this time what kind of plans Grande and Miller have to ring in the singer's 24th year, but it's sure to be special no matter what.

Grande's birthday marks the fifth year that she's known Miller. After their first collaboration, these two became instant friends. Even though they were in each other's lives, it wasn't until recently that they clicked romantically.

"We have loved and adored and respected each other since the beginning, since before we even met, just because we were fans of each other’s talent. We weren’t ready at all, though, to be together. It’s just timing," Grande told Cosmopolitan in March. "We both needed to experience some things, but the love has been there the whole time. There were times over the years when he would call me and hear that I was stressed or overwhelmed or not doing well, and he would call my mom. There were also times when he was really broken and sad — this was years ago — and I would come take care of him, because we love each other as best friends first and foremost."

It's been a difficult year for Grande considering the Manchester concert attack, and through the tough times, Miller has shown up to support her. It's clear that these two have so much love for each other, and there's no better day to show how much someone means to you than their birthday.
