Their friends better be ready to go shopping and pick out the perfect baby gift, because Marion Cotillard gave birth to a baby girl, her rep confirmed to People Thursday. This is the second child for Cotillard and her partner, Guillaume Canet, who are already parents to 5-year-old son Marcel. No further information has been revealed about their daughter, including a name or when she was born. Seeing as the Assassin's Creed star remains pretty tight-lipped about her personal life, Cotillard might not ever offer up any details about her daughter. If any details do come out, it will most likely be on her own terms.
In September, the Oscar-winning actor revealed on Instagram that she was pregnant for the second time. "Firstly, many years ago, I met the man of my life, father of our son and of the baby we are expecting. He is my love, my best friend, the only one that I need." Cotillard and Canet have been together for almost a decade.
This certainly is an exciting time for both of them and I'm sure they are thrilled that their family has officially expanded. They are all probably enjoying their time together as a family of four. Let's send all the congrats in the world to Cotillard and Canet. They definitely deserve it.
