The Unique Way To Use Kat Von D Metal Crush Shadow

Certain products just crush it with their awesomeness. Like Kat Von D's Metal Crush Eyeshadow, the range of which boasts 11 metallic, pigment-packed shades. I'm a huge fan of the collection, having used Static Age and Black No. 1. You can use these babies as a lid wash, as a brow highlight, popped in the inner corners, to add a little somethin' to the upper or lower lashline, or you can build your eye look with any of these shades as the glittery, glam base. But did you know there is another way you can use Kat Von D Metal Crush Eyeshadows that you never thought of? This brilliant usage, as recommended by the brand itself, will help you get the most for your money and out of your product.

Two posts on the official Kat Von D Beauty Instagram account suggests using the Thunderstuck Metal Crush shadow, which is a metallic pearl, as a highlighter.

You can use it to accentuate your cheekbones, your browbones, your temples, the sides of your nose, or any other feature that you wish to spotlight.

Knowing how smooth the formula is and how it glides across lids, I think it could work perfectly as a light highlight on the décolletage or shoulders, too.

Look at the shimmer and glow against the wrist! That's not merely an eyeshadow. That's also a highlighter.

The brand encourages repurposing Thunderstruck as a highlighter and when you get a tip like that from the top, you have to just go with it.

Multiple Metal Crush shadows in lighter shades can be multi-taskers of the highest order, too. But KVD is pumping Thunderstruck hard in these posts. The lighting in the photo above makes the shade take on a different cast. Below is the caption attached to this photo, calling out Thunderstuck, which, BTW, is a great AC/DC song!

When a product avails itself of several uses, it truly becomes one that you can't live without.

If this baby isn't already in your makeup bag or stash, why not add it, so you can have luscious lids and glowing cheekbones, among other things?
