When people say everything they touch turns to gold, they normally don't mean literally. Then again, not every beauty brand is as magical as Storybook Cosmetics. Giving their classic brush set a brand new look, Storybook Cosmetics' created gold and rose gold Wizard Wand Brushes. Think: the same incredible look with an even more mystical feel. Get those wallets ready, because you don't have to wait much longer for the launch.
Storybook Cosmetics has been teasing their What's In A Rose Brushes and their Quill And Ink Liner Set for a while now, but it looks like they had something else up their sleeve. The brand is taking their traditional Wizard Wand Brush Set and giving it a makeover. All of the designs and bristles will stay the same, but the colors are getting an update.
The sisters who founded Storybook Cosmetics posted a picture of their personal collection of gold-plated brushes on Instagram awhile back, and it didn't take long for fans to start asking for some too. Thankfully, Storybook Cosmetics made a limited edition batch of gold and rose gold brushes to meet the demand.
You won't have to wave your magic wands to get it to come sooner, either. The gold and rose gold Wizard Wand Brush Set will be available on Apr. 28 at 1 p.m. ET on the Storybook Cosmetics website.
The colors might be changing, but the price is staying the same. Each gold and rose gold Wizard Wand Brush Set will be $55. That breaks down to $11 per brush, which is pretty affordable — especially for this quirky design. You'll also get a limited edition velvet pouch to hold your brushes in. It doesn't get much better than this.
"We loved our Wizard Wand brushes so much we decided to make ourselves a gold plated version," Co-Founder of Storybook Cosmetics Erin Maynard said in a press release. “We shared a photo on our Instagram that received over 12,000 likes, so we decided to release two new limited edition runs in gold and rose gold. We will be releasing them in two small batches to surprise our fans. Each set includes a flat thick liner brush, tapered blending, flat long packing brush, flat shader, and a blending brush!"
The original Wizard Wand Brush Set sold out extremely fast, and I'm willing to bet that these will too. Mark your calendar and get your wallet ready, because this is one launch that you won't want to miss.
