These Drake & Josh Reunion Videos Will Actually Make Fans Cringe

Nickelodeon alums Drake Bell and Josh Peck's wedding feud may have officially ended. A photo of the Drake & Josh stars hugging it out at the VMAs went viral on Twitter, and fans couldn't stop rejoicing. But how did this even happen? Well, Peck shared a video of his VMA reunion with Bell on his YouTube channel, giving fans the background info they've wanted ever since the hugging picture spread like wildfire. While it was nice to see the bros back in action, there still seems to be a bit of awkward tension between the two, at least from the outside looking in.

Ever since the news broke that their childhood friendship had come to a head after an infamous wedding invite snub earlier this summer, trying to pinpoint exactly where the beef first began has been next to impossible. Could it have been a result of a simple disagreement gone rogue, or was the pair just experiencing some growing pains? Neither party has confirmed the source of the drama, but whatever it was, it had to be big enough for Peck to diss Bell on arguably one of the biggest days of his life.

At the 3:58 mark in the vlog, which has over 1.8 million views, Peck initiates a brief meet-and-greet with Bell. And what came next was absolutely cringeworthy, to say the least.

"What's up, buddy? Is this happening right now live?" Bell inquires, raising some suspicion that he wouldn't have been down to mingle with his former bro otherwise. "Can you tell Facebook to be nice to me?" Peck requests, to which Bell replies, "Oh my god. It's not even my fault," before telling fans to "lay off." And in that very moment, it was as clear as day: Peck might be able to let bygones be bygones, but Bell doesn't look like he's over their fallout just yet.

Luckily, later in the evening, the pair met up backstage in what appeared to be a much more relaxed experience than their previous encounter. Peck even shared a little joke, saying, “You’re welcome, childhood,” making all of their fan's inner tweens rejoice.

Someone else who couldn't get enough of the two burying the hatchet was YouTube star and Drake & Josh fan, David Dobrik. The online prankster was in for a treat when his friends, including Peck, decided to turn the tables and give him a surprise of a lifetime. Once removing his blindfold, the vlogger was met with his very own Drake & Josh reunion, right there in his living room.

The trio was definitely all smiles, but Dobrik totally got in the last laugh — poking fun at the ceremony snub, saying, “I told Josh he was a d*ck for not inviting you to the wedding.” Dobrick's dig may have been a bit too soon. The body language, the nervous laughter, and the awkward smiles all hint that the two still haven't really unpacked their friendship quarrel just yet.

Both videos were both extremely uneasy to watch, but hey, at least Bell and Peck are in cahoots now, right?
