'Fifty Shades Darker' Deleted Scene Proves That Elena Is A Threat

There's no doubt that the second film in the Fifty Shades trilogy brought about a lot of new drama for the troubled couple, but this Fifty Shades Darker bonus clip proves that Elena may be more of a threat to Christian and Ana's future that we thought. In a deleted scene from the newly-released Unrated Edition of the film, we get a bit more insight about Ana's feelings on her bae's former lover, Elena, and learn that Ana may feel a bit more uneasy about Christian's ex than she originally let on.

Following their huge break up in the first movie, Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele found themselves at a crossroads in the sequel film. As Christian attempts to win Ana's heart back, Ana is awakened by new details of her former beau's tattered past, which includes a few scary run-ins with one of his past submissives, Leila Williams. There was also the issue of Christian's involvement with his former dominant, Elena Lincoln – the woman that introduced him to the whole BDSM lifestyle before meeting Ana.

Although Ana felt she and Christian were no match for one another in the initial film, she would later find herself back in the throes with the sexual deviant, after he accepts her ultimatum of no rules and no punishments going forward. She eventually agrees to marry him in the sequel, but seems a bit unsettled about their future after Elena gets into her head. Check out this bonus clip of Ana questioning Christian about Elena's allegations:

During a bit of pillow talk, the couple discuss Christian's one-time dominatrix as Ana seemingly expresses her insecurities about satisfying his erotic needs. She hesitantly explains, "Elena said that what we have won't never be enough for you," as she lay next to the billionaire entrepreneur. Christian quickly dispels Ana's feelings, replying, "she's wrong... you're all I want."

What does this all mean? Will Elena viciously return to wreak havoc on Ana and Christian's wedding the Fifty Shades Freed conclusion? Will more details be revealed in the unedited version? I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

The Unrated Edition of Fifty Shades Darker is now available on Digital HD and will be available on Blu-Ray and DVD on May 9. Maybe there will be some more clues to uncover about Ana and Elena's war over Christian's love. Fingers crossed!
