Why can't we live in a world where people just leave tips at restaurants when they're supposed to? In the latest viral tipping story, an aspiring makeup artist and waitress was makeup-shamed by teens who refused to tip on their bill. Talk about adding insult to injury.

The waitress in question, who goes by the handle @wingedandcontoured, accounted the whole story on her Instagram account. Apparently, the drama started when the group of teens got their bill and claimed they didn't have enough money to pay. The customers demanded to speak to the manager, saying the waitress "didn't tell them exactly how much their food was going to cost them." Really? Since when is pre-calculating bills part of a waitress' job description?

The waitress also noted that the teens spent "a good 20 minutes" with their menus before ordering — plenty of time to calculate the bill themselves.

At any rate, the teens decided to raise a ruckus, demanding to speak to her manager about lowering their bill. The manager refused their request, at which point they revealed that they'd actually had a credit card all along.

Still, the drama didn't end there — even after paying their bill, they left a big fat goose egg for the tip section, and accompanied it with a nasty, snarky message: "Here's a tip: Contour is supposed to BLEND."

Luckily, this waitress didn't let the mean-spirited comment get under her skin. In fact, as she says of the image above, "Didn't phase me." She also captioned her photo, "When people try to hurt your feelings over your makeup, good thing I know my #makeup was #flawless today." Nolite te bastardes carborundorum, right?

And seriously, how dare they say that this woman's contour game was anything less than ***flawless?

Props to @wingedandcontoured for sharing her story, and for keeping that contour game on point — no matter what the haters say.
