Urban Decay's NAKED Heat Swatches Are Better Than Expected

Sun's out, fun's out. Yeah, yeah, I know. But there's even more fun to be had in summer when the sun sets and I'm talking about nightlife and your makeup! Urban Decay's new NAKED Heat eyeshadow palette is the latest addition to the brand's most recognizable range, which is full of amazing, coordinated shades in palettes.

UD's NAKED Heat will allow you to achieve the popular sunset smoky eye trend, since the palette is populated by warm burnt reds, coppers, siennas, and butterscotch hues.

Sunset smoky eyes are just that — they look like the setting sun, with lots of amber, orange, and brown. The brand posted swatches of the NAKED Heat shades on three skintones. Yeah, this palette, which features 12 shadows, will work for pretty much everyone since the colors are smoldering and sultry, and they mimic burning embers.

NAKED Heat really is the next logical addition to the NAKED family. The brand has already focused on neutrals, pinks, smoky shades, and mattes with prior NAKED collections. This one specializes in amber tones and that makes it an essential eyeshadow wardrobe for summer.

It's getting hot outside and the same can be said for your eye makeup once you crack this palette open and dip a fluffy buffer brush into a pan.

That is such a europhic feeling, isn't it?

Of course Beauty Junkies and Urban Decay devotees are breaking a sweat over these shades.

It's straight fire, indeed.

The slim case and packaging are familiar. You can focus on the actual shades here, which are a mix of mattes and shimmers. These colors look like they will play nicely with those in other palettes, both in the NAKED family and beyond. If you are like me, and need a matte black shade in your daily eye makeup, your chosen black should pair well with any of the Heat hues.
