By now, festival style pretty much has its own category carved out. The aesthetic is distinctively carefree and boho, and it has a certain je ne sais quoi that distinguishes it from everyday wear. However, every music festival has a slightly different style among festival-goers that makes it unique. If you're wondering specifically what to wear to Firefly Music Festival in Dover, Delaware this summer, you're covered here.

It's slightly less luxe than Coachella and less urban than Lollapalooza, and the style follows suit. Plus, this year, it's being held from June 15-18, so the temperatures aren't as scorching as the ones you'd find in Indio, California, and it's not as humid as Chicago tends to be in August. According to U.S. climate data, the average high in Dover in June is 83 degrees, and the average low is 63. So from a pure comfort standpoint, you have a ton of freedom.

Plus, since it's a woodsier locale and camping is the norm, it's a bit less "done up" than some similar events. That doesn't mean ditching festival fashion, though — they're always an opportunity to play with fun style (and take some great Instas). Need some inspo? Here are 13 things you can wear to Firefly Music Festival.

1. Loose Cutoffs

3. Flat Booties
