When it comes to social media platforms, it's hard to name a big-name brand that isn't posting about their latest drops and collections. The outliers who resist joining in on the social media game are known as holdouts. One of those holdouts used to be Celine, but an outlier they are no longer. Yes, you read that right — Céline has officially joined Instagram, which is huge news in the fashion world.

French ready-to-wear brand Céline is more than just a brand to francophiles and cool girls. Just launching its blue-checkmarked, Instagram official account today, Celine is prepared to share the world all of the cool-girl fashion inspiration you could dream of, right in the palm of your hand. Coincidence that this is right before Paris Fashion Week? I think not.

The account only has nine photos, and has already amassed 46,000 followers, which means that fashion fans are definitely on board for this move to the world of social media. On Céline's account — which is @celine — you'll find images of the brand's products and ad campaigns. Celine's style has been known for its minimally chic, cool, and effortless vibe, and that's exactly what you'll get once you give them a follow.

Whether you're already a fan of the French brand, love high-end fashion, or just want some daily inspiration, word on the street is that e-commerce might also be on the horizon for the label, according to WWD. While holding out on social media can give a brand a feeling of mystery and added coolness (as if they needed more of that), I think it's a super smart move on Celine's part to join Instagram and stay relevant in the digital age.

The brand's first Instagram photo is enough to get everyone excited.

Céline is always finding creative ways to show off their work.

I would expect nothing less.

Safe to say Céline sees things in ways we can't.

Detail shots are a trend on the new account, and I think I speak for the world when I say that I can't wait to see what kind of content they'll share from Paris Fashion Week.
