MAC's 2017 Future Forward Campaign Is Maj

Music and makeup are interconnected on many levels, since cosmetics aid the visual that matches the sound. MAC takes that connection to the next level with the MAC Future Forward campaign. For the 2017 MAC Future Forward campaign, up 'n' comers Justine Skye, Dua Lipa, and Lee Hi have their own branded MAC products and are featured in the campaign. This year, it's a highlighter, gloss, and lipstick paired up with a star in the making! If you need a refresher, Tinashe, Dej Loaf, Lion Babe, and Halsey were involved in the 2016 Future Forward campaign.

Billboard got the scoop on the artists and the products and here's what to expect and the rollout dates.

R&B singer Justine Skye launches her campaign on Apr. 13 with a purple highlighting powder. You can get your unicorn glow on if you nab her product. Brit vocalist Dua Lipa follows on May 25 and offers a clear Cremesheen Lipglass packed with iridescent glitter because glossed lips have mounted the comeback trail.

Lastly, on Jun. 29, Lee Hi, a K-Pop artist, wraps the Future Forward campaign with a matte, red lipstick.

I love that MAC mined the underground for artists from a variety of genres and cultural backgrounds and is hitching its wagon to these lovelies. The campaign basically allows artists you may not yet heard of (yet) to express their artistic vision through color statements and products.

The caption confirms that the products are indeed limited edition. That means you better grab them stat if they tickle your fancy.

Skye's purple-dusted cheek matches her Rapunzel-like, royal purple locks.

Good glow is important, whether you are a performer or not.

Dua Lipa smolders with minimal makeup in this shot. Those lips, though!

Lipa is a clear gloss devotee, so she created one with chunks of glitter for extra sparkle. Since she is a singer, her lips are a focal point so this collab makes loads of sense.

Lee Hi's lips are so very.

What a universally wearable, feminine red.

Go ahead and program a reminder in your phone since the dates and products are staggered. Check out each artist's music while you are at it and let MAC makeup spark that discovery process. You may just find your new favorite singer.
