Stila Cosmetics' Color Balms Are Coming

by Kali Borovic

Spring lippies are finally making a debut, and you're going to love this new formula from this makeup company. Stila Cosmetics' is combining a tint and a lip balm to make for lip color you've never seen before. The Color Balms have already hit New York Fashion Week, but soon you'll be able to add them to your own makeup bag. When can you buy Stila Cosmetics' Color Balms, you ask? The exact time and date is here, but it won't be as easy as just visiting the brand's website.

Odds are you have about a million lipsticks in your collection. I can guarantee that you don't have anything like this. Stila Cosmetics' Color Balms use peppermint oil to hydrate the lips and use plant emollients for shine. The product uses a sheer tint to transform the natural color of your pout. It's all-natural lippie goodness in a little golden tube.

You don't have to wait much longer to get your hands on it either. According to their Instagram post, the Color Calm Edition of their Color Balms launch on Feb. 22 at 12 p.m. ET. Don't think you can just head to the site and pick on up though. The only way to shop is through the link in their Instagram profile.

These colors are absolutely gorgeous. Although I haven't tried them myself, the pictures from NYFW show just how subtle and sparkly natural lips can be. There are three colors to choose from — Grayson, Opal, and Misty. Each one looks neutral in the tube, but you won't believe the slick shine that they give off.

According to their Instagram, there are plenty of colorful hues on the way too. The company has been showing sneak peeks of the magenta-looking Becky Color Balm as well as a combination of two unseen shades mixed with Opal. So if the original neutrals aren't for you, don't dismiss the formula just yet.

Bottom line: this is one lip launch that you won't want to miss. There's no word on how much each lipstick will be, but something tells me that the early release will definitely be worth the shop.
