Meghan From ‘RHOC’ Is Having Twins Soon & Here’s Everything Fans Need To Know
Back in November, the resident candlemaker of The Real Housewives of Orange County shared a lovely update: She and her husband, MLB star and fellow candle enthusiast Jim Edmonds, are expecting. And they're expecting fairly soon. As she has shared on her blog and social media, Meghan King Edmonds is due in June of next year.
When the ladies of RHOC sat down together for the Season 12 reunion in October, Meghan told her co-stars that she was one month pregnant. Meghan and her fellow O.C Housewives kept this news under wraps until the episode aired a month later. The day the reunion aired, Meghan hopped on her blog and confirmed she's pregnant. As she shared,
“So we’ve made it to the announcement: Aspen is going to be a big sister! It was so hard for us to keep it a secret from everyone especially since we shared our entire IVF journey with Aspen on RHOC from the very beginning. Tonight on the RHOC reunion you’ll see that I’m only one month pregnant, but that was filmed five weeks ago: we are now ten weeks pregnant (and I’m feeling every bit of it)! Because you won’t see any of our current journey on RHOC, I’ll share our beautiful journey with you here!”
Meghan said she and Jim began the IVF process over the summer, and revealed that they will be having a boy “in June 2018.” But that wasn't the only surprise she had in store. On Thurs., Dec. 21, Meghan made another delightful announcement on social media: She and Jim will have two boys next June. Yes, in just a few months, the King Edmonds family will be joined by twins.
Oh boy, indeed. The twins will be Meghan’s second and third children. The Orange County Housewife gave birth to daughter Aspen on Nov. 24, 2016. And just a few months after she was born, Aspen was pawing at a stuffed bison head during the RHOC cast’s trip to Iceland. They grow up so fast, don’t they?
Speaking of RHOC, there have been some whispers through the Bravoverse grapevine about Meghan possibly getting let go from the show before next season. However, nothing’s been confirmed. (According to legend, the grapes on that vine are used in at least one Real Housewife’s wine line.) Assuming the show gets renewed, it'll be some time before Bravo officially reveals who will be holding an orange in Season 13. So keep your Bravo-loving ear to the ground.
In the meantime, here's something that fans can know for sure: Meghan claimed she saw a ghost in her home. If living in a possibly haunted house doesn't guarantee a spot on RHOC, then what will?
If RHOC gets picked up for a 13th season, and if Meghan sticks around for another season, it stands to reason that she’ll be pregnant on the show. Here are a few things to keep in mind: She’s due in June, the last few seasons have filmed in spring and early summer, and June falls in early summer. So, if she continues doing the RHOC thing, and if RHOC films when it usually films, then Meghan will be pregnant during Season 13. Oh, and she might even have the babies while the season is filming. And if the reunion tapes when it usually tapes, the twins will be a few months old when Meghan attends the post-season get-together. There is a lot of “if” going on, but each “if” is an educated guess of an “if.”
Whether she's part of Season 13 or not, it'll be lovely to see her family grow. All of the congrats to Meghan, Jim, Aspen, and Girly Girl.
