John Legend Walks The BBMAs Red Carpet Solo

No matter the occasion, there's one person who steals the show at any event she attends. Of course, I'm talking about Chrissy Teigen, whose reaction faces are what memes are made of. But on Sunday, John Legend appeared to walk the red carpet alone. So, I can't be the only one wondering where Teigen is during the 2017 Billboard Music Awards. Did she just decide to ditch the pre-show event and will appear later in the night? Or is she at home watching on the couch with her beloved dogs and adorable daughter? These are answers that the internet deserves to know. UPDATE: As suspected, Teigen updated fans via Twitter that she was watching the BBMAs from TV like the rest of us. She wrote, "My sister and niece live in Vegas. I'm hanging out with them and not trying to force my back into a dress. But watching #bbmas!" Teigen even joked that she was "Best Dressed" with her cat Snapchat filter, and offered commentary throughout the whole show.

EARLIER: Considering Legend is performing with Florida Georgia Line during the ceremony, I'd imagine that Teigen is showing her support in some capacity. Whether she'll be live-tweeting from her couch, or openly weeping in the audience, she's bound to reveal herself in one way or another by the end of the night.

As you can see below, there's a very Teigen-less Legend posing on the red — oops, I mean magenta — carpet at the BBMAs. Sure, he looks quite content, but I can't help but feeling there's a major absence. It's just that Legend and Teigen tend to be the Prom King and Prom Queen of any event they attend, whether the Oscars or Grammys.

Even the BBMAs' official Twitter gave Teigen a shoutout on Sunday night. This makes me wonder think she isn't in the vicinity, but only time will tell. She has yet to respond to the message above.

Plus, if you consult her social media accounts (namely Twitter and Snapchat), there aren't any updates that indicate her BBMA attendance one way or another. Teigen's last tweet was about the Saturday Night Live David S. Pumpkins sketch, and she hasn't posted any recent Snaps.

I guess fans will just have to be detectives and keep an eye on her tweets for any clues to her whereabouts. Either way, I'm guessing Legend must miss her just as much as the rest of us watching at home.
