Everyone's favorite Southern Belles are back on TV with the Season 10 premiere of The Real Housewives Of Atlanta. With NeNe Leakes back in the fold after a few years, you may have expected her to get the most shade from the group. But no, instead it was her castmate Kenya Moore and her mysterious new husband that had everyone's eyebrows raised. Who is he? Her friends don't seem to believe Kenya's man even exists.

Kenya has become known for being a bit tricky at times and skewing facts to suit her own interests. So it's no surprise her co-stars weren't buying the whole "surprise wedding" thing on Nov. 5's season premiere.

While the Georgia crew may still be in the dark when it comes to his identity, fans can rest easy: Kenya's husband does exist. He's very real. Though the last season of RHOA Kenya's main storyline on involved her "toxic" relationship with Matt Jordan, the Detroit-native has found love once again with businessman Marc Daly. According to the official Bravo site, the two tied the knot on June 10 at a beachfront ceremony in St. Lucia.

The couple met through mutual friend Chef Roblé Ali about a year ago, although they didn’t start dating until December 2016. After years of thinking she'd missed out on the chance for a fairytale ending, Kenya was apparently swept off her feet by Marc. The 46-year-old former Miss USA told People that her first date with him "changed everything" for her. “I’ve never experienced a first date like this before,” she gushed to the magazine. “You know when you meet people, and you like them or have good chemistry with them but you don’t feel like the world has changed? I felt like the earth moved after our first date.”

Things quickly heated up for the couple and they got hitched just seven months after they began dating. “I probably would have married him in 30 days, the feeling was that strong,” she told People in the same interview. “But we wanted to wait and get to know each other and make sure it wasn’t an infatuation. We needed to make sure it was actually real.” Kenya described Marc as “extremely romantic” — bringing a lot of “calm, security and protection” to her. She also gushed about how he sees her for who she really is versus the twirl-Queen-Kenya fans have loved to hate on RHOA.

So if she's this in love, what's with all the secrecy? In the season premiere NeNe nearly chokes on her drink when Cynthia mentions Kenya's elopement, before throwing out her usual shady comments. Later at Cynthia's 50 Shades themed birthday party, Kandi repeatedly asks for the name of Kenya's husband. Kenya clearly dodges the question with laughs. In an off-screen interview an annoyed Kandi notes that she feels like as a friend she shouldn't have had to hear about the wedding from "searching through the blogs."

Valid point. Though in Kenya's defense, the Housewives do have a way of throwing each other under the bus. And with Kenya still in the honeymoon phase, fans can't blame her for being just a little bit cautious about bringing Marc around. Let's be honest: they just started getting along with Kenya about a season ago, so there's no telling how they'd treat her man.

To People, Kenya further expanded on her reason for keeping her new beau's identity a secret. She said:

“He didn’t sign up for this world, I did. Every time someone has been associated with me, they attack that person — immediately going after them, trying to bring them down and saying crazy things. They tear people apart. And so for [Marc], he was like, ‘This is about me and you — it’s not about me or you.’ He just wanted it to be about our pure love and not about him."

Hopefully the peaches will lay off some of those sketchy comments, give Kenya the benefit of the doubt, and just be happy for her this season. Who knows? Marc may even appear on the show eventually, if everyone stays on their best behavior.
