There's a mixed bag when it comes to love this weekend, so let's start with the positive stuff first. The Moon finishes out her transit through romantic Pisces on Saturday morning, squaring off with serious Saturn in Sagittarius and the Sun in intellectual Gemini. The result of this cosmic combination is a much needed reality check as the Gemini Sun and Saturn in Sagittarius help us to take a realistic approach when it comes to love and relationships, which can be useful in avoiding dating types that may be unhealthy for us. By Saturday afternoon, the Moon shifts into fiery Aries, ramping up the passion and adventure. An interactive or impromptu date or boldly sliding into someone's DMs could be just the things to get the sparks flying.
By Sunday morning, things get a bit dicey as the fiery Aries Moon squares off with sensitive Mars in Cancer. With these two together we'll have to adopt an attitude of do unto others as we want done unto ourselves in order to keep feelings from unnecessarily boiling over. The opposition between the Aries Moon and Jupiter in partnership-oriented Libra can help us to see both sides. During the late afternoon, there's a meetup between the Gemini Sun and rebellious Uranus in Aries, followed by an opposition between Mercury in Gemini and Saturn in Sagittarius. When it comes to love, this combo can help us with starting off on the right foot in a new relationship. For those of us in established relationships, this combo can be good for planning together, having a serious talk, or moving past a challenge. With the Moon squaring off with powerful Pluto in Capricorn by the end of Sunday night, we just have to make sure we're willing to compromise.
