Here's Your Weekend Love Horoscope

We’re constantly fascinated by what our zodiac sign says about our lives, whether it's which signs are most compatible or how each sign handles conflict in relationships. That's why Bustle has enlisted Mecca Woods, a New York City-based astrologer of, to tell us all about how astrology is affecting our lives each week. This week's topic: your weekend love horoscope for June 17-18, 2017.

There's a mixed bag when it comes to love this weekend, so let's start with the positive stuff first. The Moon finishes out her transit through romantic Pisces on Saturday morning, squaring off with serious Saturn in Sagittarius and the Sun in intellectual Gemini. The result of this cosmic combination is a much needed reality check as the Gemini Sun and Saturn in Sagittarius help us to take a realistic approach when it comes to love and relationships, which can be useful in avoiding dating types that may be unhealthy for us. By Saturday afternoon, the Moon shifts into fiery Aries, ramping up the passion and adventure. An interactive or impromptu date or boldly sliding into someone's DMs could be just the things to get the sparks flying.

By Sunday morning, things get a bit dicey as the fiery Aries Moon squares off with sensitive Mars in Cancer. With these two together we'll have to adopt an attitude of do unto others as we want done unto ourselves in order to keep feelings from unnecessarily boiling over. The opposition between the Aries Moon and Jupiter in partnership-oriented Libra can help us to see both sides. During the late afternoon, there's a meetup between the Gemini Sun and rebellious Uranus in Aries, followed by an opposition between Mercury in Gemini and Saturn in Sagittarius. When it comes to love, this combo can help us with starting off on the right foot in a new relationship. For those of us in established relationships, this combo can be good for planning together, having a serious talk, or moving past a challenge. With the Moon squaring off with powerful Pluto in Capricorn by the end of Sunday night, we just have to make sure we're willing to compromise.

Aries (March 21 - April 19)

Tina Gong/Bustle

A past hurt or disappointment could have you afraid of moving on or perhaps trying to make a current relationship something it's not. But don't fret, it's just a matter of getting yourself back out there. The love you want exists, though you need to believe you can have it. Speak what you want into existence.

Taurus (April 20 - May 20)

Tina Gona/Bustle

When it comes to you and your love, something the two of you may be wishing for may not be coming together the way you want, especially when it comes to your money. Though maybe it just means you have to take a new approach. Single? It's time to get clear on who and what you really desire.

Gemini (May 21 - June 20)

Tina Gong/Bustle

Are you too concerned with how others see you and your relationship/love life instead of focusing solely on what you want and what makes you happy? This weekend may be a reminder that when all is said and done, what (or who) resonates with you may not be for everyone else. And that's OK.

Cancer (June 21 - July 22)

Tina Gong/Bustle

How do you manage to be accountable and discerning when it comes to your heart while still believing in the magic of love? This might be the question that's on your mind this weekend. Part of the answer involves your intuition and trusting your gut, while the other part of the answer involves letting down your guard.

Leo (July 23 - Aug. 22)

Tina Gong/Bustle

That fun, charming someone may be best suited for a casual fling than a full-on committed romance. Still, that doesn't mean that you're out for the count. The right person for you might not be your typical match, which means you may have to widen your net. Be open to someone different from the norm.

Virgo (Aug. 23 - Sept. 22)

Tina Gong/Bustle

Someone you ideally want may not be the person you thought they were, which could throw you for a loop this weekend. However, try not to let that bring you too far down because that doesn't mean you're hopeless when it comes to love. Know that the person for you has to be able to level up.

Libra (Sept. 23 - Oct. 22)

Tina Gong/Bustle

If your love life has been DOA, it's time to get yourself out and about in a way that offers you the opportunity to meet new people and learn something new while you're at it. Meanwhile, you may need to shift your perspective when it comes to love; be open to receive and know you deserve what you want.

Scorpio (Oct. 23 - Nov. 21)

Tina Gong/Bustle

Someone you're interested in may seem like a good match, possessing the kind of romance, charm, and emotional intelligence you crave. However, the real issue here is whether or not you could genuinely see this person as being a part of your everyday life. Make sure you two are on the same page.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22 - Dec. 21)

Tina Gong/Bustle

Are you letting nostalgia or familiarity get in the way of you moving on? It seems like you may have a hard time saying goodbye to an ex or a current lover because of what once was, though the cosmos is trying to push you forward toward someone much better. Don't be afraid to let go.

Capricorn (Dec. 22 - Jan. 19)

Tina Gong/Bustle

You often don't veer too far away from rules or tradition when it comes to relationships. And you tend to like your partners the same way. However, in order for you to grow, it may be time to step out of your comfort zone and experiment a little. Loving someone means allowing room for change.

Aquarius (Jan. 20 - Feb. 18)

Tina Gong/Bustle

Someone you want might not be necessarily someone you need, and this weekend you may be asked to make that discernment. Though don't get discouraged, as they're not the only option for you. If you dare to shake up your routines and meet new faces in new places, you could find love.

Pisces (February 19 - March 20)

Tina Gong/Bustle

Is someone putting a demand on your time and energy in a way that you can't afford to give? Or maybe you don't want to give? When it comes to love and relationships, it's important that you get a return on the investment that you're putting in. This weekend it's time to get back to what you need.
