Seriously, after a hectic week, cuddling up with someone we fancy is like the antidote to the cray that we need right now. Whether we're single or not, there's a little treat for us all this weekend when it comes to love. Though before the Moon shifts into Taurus late Saturday afternoon, the Moon finishes out her transit through passionate Aries, making sure to get sparks flying and hearts racing first. As such, we may find the courage we need to slide into the DMs of that soon-to-be special someone or find that having a mind-blowing quickie with bae is time well spent.
When the Moon shifts into Taurus, though, it's all about slowing down and savoring the connection between ourselves and another. Plus, with the Moon meeting up with the Sun and Mars in doting and devoted Virgo this weekend, it'll be hard not to have our hearts, minds, and bodies fixated on the ones we want. That said, the planets in Taurus and Virgo (along with magnetic Pluto in Capricorn) will be asking us to put more energy into the quality of our love lives more than anything. This will be especially true when Venus in Leo squares off with the Taurus Moon on Sunday night, creating a conflict between what we want and what we need. The best way to handle this tension is to go for substance over the flashy, shiny things.
