Erkan Affan

Erkan is a writer and curator from South London currently based between the UK and Germany. After attaining a BA from SOAS and an MSc from UCL, Erkan has keenly focused on the intersections of sexuality, gender, migration, and diaspora identity in their work, having previously commissioned programmes with the City of Berlin, alongside Chelsea Council and the ICA here in London. A keen author, Erkan has previously written for titles like King Kong Magazine, gal-dem, Der Tagesspiegel and Highsnobiety, and more. When not working, you can find Erkan stunting in the clubs and galleries of London, playing JRPG games, or crying at the storylines of 'Bojack Horseman', 'Bleach', and other such iconic animations in their room.
