The screen’s favorite starlets (and the equally as important folks BTS) all gathered in Beverly Hills to celebrate the 2023 Golden Globe Awards.

While the gowns featured spicy cutouts and lots of sparkles, many of the makeup moments were more subdued. Here are the best looks.

Jenna Ortega’s ’60s Mod Eye

Looking straight up show-stopping in a spicy cutout dress and flippy bob, the Wednesday star looked like a modern day Twiggy with her ’60s-inspired eye makeup.

Margot Robbie’s Barbiecore Glam

Tapping Barbie-inspired pink hues, Robbie was a beachy daydream at the Golden Globes. Makeup artist Pati Dubroff used CHANEL N°1 de CHANEL Lip and Cheek Balm in Vital Beige to add a petal-like flush to Robbie’s cheeks.

Ana De Armas’ Pinup Liner

Undoubtedly an ode to her role in Blonde, the Cuban actor opted for a black wing that’s giving retro ’50s vibes.

Lily James’ No-Makeup Makeup

Going for a less is more vibe (with her glam, at least), James opted for a simple eye, neutral lips, and a softly blushed complexion.

Angela Bassett’s Pinup Glamour

With a ’50s-inspired eye and a rosy-red lip, the Wakanda Forever actor and complete icon stunned with her classic glam moment. Makeup artist D’Andre Michael used CHANEL Rouge Allure Velvet Lip Colour in Eternelle to create Bassett’s classic red lip, complete with a subtle glossy finish.

Selena Gomez’s Mauve Smoky Eye

Creating a subtle siren eye with mauve-hued shadow, the Rare Beauty founder and Only Murders In The Building star brought some serious sultry glamour.

Jennifer Coolidge’s Bombshell Glam

Inspired by ’50s-era silver sirens, The White Lotus actor looked divine on the Golden Globes carpet.

Salma Hayek’s Peekaboo Glitter Eye

It seems many stars rocked a winged eye on the Globes carpet — but Salma’s subtle glitter moment added just enough luxe and shimmer to complement her see-through gown.
