by Lia Beck

On Sunday, July 26, after being hospitalized and unresponsive for six months, Bobbi Kristina Brown died while in hospice care. The 22-year-old was found unconscious in a bathtub in her Georgia home on Jan. 31, 2015 in an event that was eerily similar to the way her mother, Whitney Houston, was found dead in a bathtub in 2012. Now, fans of the late singer and those who followed the story of her daughter may be wondering where Bobbi Kristina will be buried. According to Entertainment Tonight, Bobbi Kristina will be buried next to Whitney Houston in New Jersey.

While Bobbi Kristina died in Duluth, Georgia, near she lived and where she was treated after being found, she was born in New Jersey like her mother. According to Entertainment Tonight, a family source told the publication that a funeral service will be held for Bobbi Kristina this week, after which her body will be flown to New Jersey for burial at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield. In addition to being laid to rest near Houston, Bobbi Kristina will also be near her grandfather, Houston's father, John Russell Houston. The cemetery is located only 10 miles from Livingston, New Jersey where Bobbi Kristina was born.

The official cause of death for the singer and reality TV personality has not yet been released. According to the Associated Press, Bobbi Kristina's body will be evaluated with an autopsy to confirm the reason for her death. The Fulton County, Georgia Medical Examiner's Office told the AP on Monday that the amount of time that passed between Bobbi Kristina being found unresponsive and her death with "complicate" the process. A statement from the examiner's office reads, "Interpretation of autopsy findings and other information will also be challenging. However, an autopsy could be helpful to address questions which may arise about the cause of her unresponsiveness and eventual death."

In addition, the Roswell, Georgia Police Department is said to be continuing their investigation into the circumstances that surrounded Bobbi Kristina being found unresponsive back in January. The medical examiner's office statement continued, "The Roswell Police Department continues its investigation into the circumstances preceding and surrounding the time of the original incident leading to her death."
