Get Kate Hudson's "Trap Queen" Style

by Julia Guerra

Kate Hudson showed us how celebs cope with airport boredom Sunday, uploading a video to Instagram showing off her and 11-year-old son Ryder's dance moves to Fetty Wap's "Trap Queen," and it was pretty adorable. It's no secret that the actress has moves, but I was less concerned about the dance and more curious as to where to buy Hudson's red jumpsuit in the "Trap Queen" video. After some research, I found the jumpsuit on ASOS and although the number looks a little different without a sweater layered on top, it's still super chic. Was there ever any actual doubt that Hudson would be anything other than the sole definition of a cool mom, though?

The clip instantly brought me back to that epic informal dance battle between Hudson and Lea Michele to Chicago's "All That Jazz" in an episode of Glee. She may not have been clad in yoga pants and a body suit this time around, but it just goes to show that Hudson's rhythm comes naturally to her, and it doesn't really matter what she's wearing when the music hits.

This jumpsuit, sweatshirt, and shades combo has to be my favorite of Hudson's dance costumes thus far. Somehow, the baggy jumpsuit fits the song's beat (was that planned, Kate?) and her stunner shades complete the overall vibe going on here. It's one thing to have the moves, but another to look the part. Hudson is the whole package.

I unfortunately cannot provide you with a step-by-step instructions for how to dance like Kate Hudson, mostly because I'm that girl who was born with absolutely no sense of rhythm. I can, however, provide you with the tools to get her look. Check out below how you can channel your inner Kate Hudson and/or hip hop dancer extraordinaire.

1. ASOS

Minimal Oversized Print Jumpsuit, $81, asos.com

2. BP

Washed Crewneck Sweatshirt, $24.90, nordstrom.com

3. ZooShoo

Social Circle Sunglasses, $10, zoohoo.com

Even if you haven't thought of pairing a jumpsuit with an oversized sweater before now, Hudson's "Trap Queen" look proves that you definitely should be rethinking your closet — and your dance moves, maybe.
