Jordin Sparks Made A Fitness Tracker Look Chic

by Jodie Layne

How do you make a FitBit look cute? Well, Jordin Sparks wore a fitness tracker out and about in New York City this week, and I think she may have cracked the code. While I'm more of the "listen to how my body feels" over the "wear a band that tracks my every move" type, I get that people want to make the most of these little devices after finding their perfect fitness tracker.

Sparks must have been logging tons of steps while she stopped in to ring the New York Stock Exchange bell, sign CDs, and head to a Jordin Sparks x Bandier party. It makes perfect sense that she chose to rock the device on her way to a group workout for the fitness lifestyle boutique as well, and considering this is Jordin Sparks, it makes equally perfect sense that it was pulled of with style.

In an abstract print skirt and cutout black crop, Sparks plays the sleek plum tracker off of the classic silhouette and deep tones in her outfit. I didn't even realize she was wearing a tracker at first, so that right there is the mark of a job well done. It's like the fashion equivalent of successfully managing to hide kale in your morning smoothie.
