There are few celebrity couples who inspire quite as much genuine affection as Chrissy and John. So it's no surprise that seeing Chrissy Teigen and John Legend at the 2015 VMAs made my (and every other hopeless romantic's) heart flutter. The couple is beloved amongst millions for the fun they seem to have together. Whether they're taking butt selfies, balancing chicken on each other, eating the most delicious meals the world has ever known, or lying in bed together all day, Teigen and Legend have proven themselves to be #RelationshipGoals incarnate time and time again.
For the Aug. 30 awards show, the (legitimately) dynamic duo went all-black, but far from boring. In usual body positive style, Teigen opted for a gown that proves she is a woman unafraid of showcasing her personal ownership of her body. The sheer bottom half of this dress is enough sartorial inspo for a lifetime, not to mention the open back, lace detailing, and natural makeup. As for Legend, well, dude's wearing leather pants and a totally classic black blazer. Suffice it to say, he's rocking it.
What I love is that the pair manages to go matchy-matchy without seeming cheesy or ridiculous. I guess what they say is true: You can never go wrong with black-on-black, including on the red carpet.
