Your Guide To Dressing Like Stevie Nicks

by Jodie Layne

I don't know if there's anyone in this world who's a better source of boho style inspiration than the pop culture fairy godmother of witchy women, Stevie Nicks. Honestly, there's no better time than now to learn how to dress like Stevie Nicks, considering you could pull just about anything out of her '70s-heavy closet and be perfectly on trend. After all, it's not just her music or the songs she wrote that stand the test of time, but her style as well.

To all you late '90s or early '00s babies out there, Stevie Nicks isn't just a person from American Horror Story : She's one of the most important women in music history — with one of the most killer wardrobes in music history to boot. Nicks' signature style is a mix of gauzy, breezy fabrics in long, billowy cuts with tons of lace, velvet, and tapestry for luxurious texture. The songstress has been mastering the perfect mix between the traditional definition of Bohemian style — flowing bell sleeves, ruffles, and silk galore — and the modern (at the time) hippie-esque looks featuring bell bottoms, peasant-style skirts, and a lot of black on black. To accessorize like Stevie is to have a love of hats of all shapes and sizes, to be draped in scarves and shawls, and to never be without a crescent moon necklace.

See? Stevie Nicks is the perfect style muse, but she's especially relevant if you want to take advantage the current '70s boho trend.
