Jessica Alba Wants To Branch Out To Hair Care

Jessica Alba's Honest Company has become mega successful since it's launch. Whether it's baby products or household cleaners, the brand gives you natural products for affordable prices. Now, Jessica Alba wants Honest hair care to be the next step for the brand. The next move actually makes perfect sense. Alba and The Honest Company just released a fab new beauty line that includes foundations, shadows, lip color, and skin care. Plus, Alba's hair game is already on point, so if the company decides to expand, I'd totally be on board.

While the brand did just have a large and — as far as I can tell — successful launch of the beauty line, the company has been under some major scrutiny lately. Social media users took to their platforms this past month to complain that Honest's sunscreen was ineffective and several taunted burns that appeared incredibly painful. Despite that, Alba took to the Honest Company's blog to reinforce her support of her brand's reliability. To pile on to the controversy, a lawsuit was recently filed alleging that the ingredients in the products are not quite as natural as they're marketed to be. Alba has yet to respond publicly to the lawsuit, but I'm sure her response will be as articulate as ever.

While controversy has become connected to the brand as of late, that hasn't slowed down the actress and entrepreneur. In an interview with Lucky Magazine, Alba revealed that hair care is where she sees the brand going next. She revealed, "Hair care is our next category." She goes on to cite lip stains and an expansion of their skin care into more spa like products. While I'm excited for the makeup and skin care expansion, hair care is definitely what makes me most excited. I mean, have you seen Alba's hair? Just take a look at some of her incredible looks.

But seriously, what product is giving her high pony that type of volume and can Honest make it?

That, my friends, is a chic chignon.
