While there are some celebs who change up their hair on the regular (ahem, Kylie Jenner), Ariana Grande is not one of them. In fact, even the slightest change from her classic half-up-half-down 'do is news-worthy, so you can imagine how big Ariana Grande's naturally curly hair reveal on Instagram was and continues to be. Because while the songstress always looks gorgeous with her hair straight, her natural curls are just as pretty, if not prettier. Like I said before, Grande is not much for hair experimentation. She pretty much always styles her locks the same way, and doesn't deviate from her signature very often. Sure, she's worn her hair down for a few events, and she's even occasionally incorporated a bun or two into her usual half up, half down, but even so, her hair has almost always been straight. Which is why this photo caught so many people off guard.

Captioning the photo, "peekaboo healthy curls, long time no see," it's clear this natural hairstyle doesn't come around often. I think it's absolutely gorgeous. Her natural curls are tight and voluminous, and oh so pretty. While I can definitely see that straight hair makes her look older and adds to her strong facial features, the curls are just so gorgeous and natural, and they really do suit her thick, dark hair. I can't help but think that her natural curls are something she should embrace more often.

These days, it's so easy to change up your hair, dye it mermaid green, chemically straighten it, and do whatever else you want with it. But that doesn't necessarily mean it's good for your locks. When a big celeb like Grande publicly embraces her natural mane, it's a nice change of pace.

While it has certainly been quite a while since she's gone curly, Internet research shows that she's rocked the look in public before.
