Zooey & Jacob Are A Perfect Match

As a longtime fan of Zooey Deschanel, I don't know what's worse: The fact that she had a baby and rarely talks about it, or the fact that she got married and rarely talks about it. It's no surprise that Deschanel is a pretty private person, and she's certainly entitled to keeping the most important parts of her life, like her daughter and her partner, to herself. But even without many details, it's obvious that Deschanel and husband Jacob Pechenik are perfect for each other. How do I know this? It's not because they constantly gush about each other, because that almost never happens. And it's not because they're out in public with each other on a regular basis, either, because that almost never happens, too. There isn't a ton of info about their relationship out there, but from what is available, it's clear that they're an awesome match.

Their love story started in 2014, when Deschanel and Pechenik met on the set of Rock The Kasbah. Pechenik produced and Deschanel starred, and obviously, they hit it off right away, because less than six months later, Deschanel announced her pregnancy... and not long after that, she and Pechenik tied the knot. When you know, you know!

And ever since then? I've become convinced that Elsie Otter's parents are true loves. OK, so none of this is based on too many hard facts, since, like I said, they don't exist, but just stay with me on this one.

1. They Look Adorable Together

And even though the happy couple has yet to share photos of their baby girl, I have a feeling that their DNA combined to create one gorgeous baby.

2. They're Both In The Entertainment Business

Like Deschanel, Pechenik has been around the Hollywood block a time or two. Aside from Rock The Kasbah, he's worked as an executive producer on movies like Jobs and The Skeleton Twins. Wonder if they talk shop at the end of a long day at work?

3. They Both Wear Glasses

Not a sign that they're soulmates, or anything, but Pechenik reminds me a lot of the male Jess Day from New Girl.

4. They Have Adorkable Taste In Baby Names

When Deschanel and Pechenik spoke to People about naming their baby Elsie Otter, they pretty much completed each other's sentences. They're so in sync!

Here's hoping these two will decide to let us in on their relationship in the future — just a little bit. From the outside, it definitely seems like they've created one adorable little family together.
